The idea of this blog came, when I was speaking with a friend on how to do well in tournaments. Recently he had some problems with playing at his best, problems which I had myself before as well. For people who did the same mistakes as me, I want to help them overcome them and people who had different problems or similiar ones but other ways to overcome them, I hope they could share it with us on this blog, with best regards your Yunyuki Kirigaya aka kiriya

| Hi everyone, I made this review as part of what my students played as homework and reviewed it offline. The most common theme of this review is basic mistakes avoiding and finding common joseki moves which would have been able to be used but didn´t came in the game and even more important: The understanding of your opponents moves. While reviewing this game, i always thought that both really didn´t think much about the opponent is doing and more what they are doing. I think its safe to say : To see your own weakness, see you through the eye of others. With regards and joy to this nice game of my students (which need to take more time in the next games) Yunyuki Kirigaya aka Kiriya |

Go is not about winning through brilliant moves, it is about losing through bad moves.

Hi everybody we are back, after a long long time, with some videos for you. I know that we were absent for a long time, illness and examinations were the reasons therefore. So i hope you can forgive us.
Today we would like to share with you some videos were yunyuki and myself talk in a free way about a 10 und 11 kyu game.
Like yunyuki pointed out several times, it is important to know the basics and in this game we focuss on the speed in GO.
Speed in Go with stones who are unable to walk? Yes speed! This are some first videos about speed in the fuseki and when a move is called slow, so maybe it is interesting for some of you because the concept of speed and slow is not easy to grasp and we think experience is the best factor to grasp it step by step , but somewhere the first step had to be taken....So enjoy this new videos.

Hi everyone, first of all i have to apologise for not writing the last 3 months.... I had exams to take at university and because of that my time for writing in the blog got cut to trying to burn everything into my brain needed for the exams. Secondly even if its a bit late : happy new year =) I hope everyone had a good new start into the year and more luck with exams than me =))))) Today i am presenting an review of an student of mine called yokohana. I hope you all will enjoy the review and that yokohana will learn much about the game with the review (PS. in the video beginning with the the right lower problem, i had some technical problems, so some of what i said is missing in it) |
